Over 206 players teed off at the RBA Golf Club today at the second and last weekend of the Baiduri Masters tournament in the final attempt to get a place in the finals and a chance to become the Baiduri Masters Champion.

Today’s tournament did not alter the top 12 gross score leaders. However, as Hj Shahminan Hj Damit, Lee Kah Ching and Johari Hj Ahmad are unable to take part in the finals, Qazri Aslimon (gross score of 73), Pg Zamani Pg Hj Ahmed (gross score of 73) and Asmawi Ismail (gross score of 74) made the top 12 cut.

These top 12 players will play in the finals tomorrow morning at the RBA Golf Club to vie for the coveted green jacket and Championship Trophy.

The tee-off for tomorrow morning for top 12 gross scorers will begin at 7.00am, where the players will be grouped into 3 flights in accordance with their scores. The lowest gross scores will tee-off last. It will be an interesting game as past champions Seruji Haji Setia (2008, 2010) and defending champion, Khairul Kamis (2012, 2013) will be playing against each other.

To enable all players to keep abreast with the results, a leader board will be set up this Sunday at the VIP Room on the first floor of RBA Golf Club. Scores will be displayed as and when they become available. All net results will also be on display by 2.00pm on Sunday, 08 June 2014.

The Prize Presentation Dinner will be held later the same day at Indah Hall, Royal Brunei Recreation Club starting at 7:00 pm, where participants are invited and welcome to attend. The event program will include presentation of donations to charity bodies and charity draw prizes.

The Baiduri Masters is organized by Baiduri Bank Group, with the support of event partners QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, QAF Eurokars Sdn Bhd, QAF Brunei, Media Permata, Borneo Bulletin, Brunei Press Sdn Bhd, RBA Golf Club Sdn Bhd and MINT.
